What impact has the Disiabilty act (UK act) had on human resource
management practice in the UK?

Clarification of Question by rich80-ga on 18 Feb 2005 15:47 PST
No one seems to want to answer this!

Maybe I need to clarify what I am looking for:-

I am looking for cases where the disability act has affected companies
in the UK; and what changes HR departments have had to make since the
changes and the new ways they now manage.

Cheers

Rich, I was most interested in your question. As I am a registered
Access Consultant based in the UK. member of the NRAC and member of
the Access Association. Unfortunately Google are not accepting any
applications for new researchers. I note from your comment that no one
seems to either want to, or is able to answer your question. Indeed I
am, as I am presently retained by a number of organisations for the
precise reason of providing consultancy services in respect of the
DDA, in particular to HR departments in respect of implementation of
reasonable adjustments to policies, practices and procedures, delivery
of goods facilities and services and reasonable adjustments to
premises. You may wish to visit my site for further information at
hardyconsultants searching on hardy and consultants and access. hope
this assists. Sorry I can give a detailed answer for the reasons
stated above.
