I am looking for an electronic load box similar in design to the TL-4
test load manufactured by Astris Energi Corp.
(www.astrisfuelcell.com). A load box works by the user entering in a
desired potential in volts and the load box searches for the
appropiate resistance to hold the fuel cell being tested at that
desired voltage and then reads out the current in amps. Ideally this
will be computer controlled and programable meaning it will take a set
of current readings at a pre-determined set of different voltages
allowing the user to "walk away" while the program runs. There are
many such test loads or load boxes commercially available, however the
problem I have is that none of the ones I have found are sensitive in
the micro-amp range which is where I take readings. I need a load box
capable of taking precise current readings starting in the micro-amp
range and going up to 2-3 amps or higher. Many commercially available
load boxes say they read 0-2 amps, but are not actually sensitive
enough to read bellow .1 amp. The volt range needed is 0-5 V
adjustable in milli-volt increments. Most readings are taken between
.2 and 1 volt in .001V increments. If computer interface is contolled
by optional software in addition to the load box is acceptable. Price
is not an issue. Immediate availability is. Thank you!

It should also take readings at least every .025 sec.
