Question ID: 475584
my question is how to get a name to send my resume directly to at the
FBI headquarters in Newark, NJ. I tried asking for the name of the
director of human resources, but appears there is no one fitting that
title, or at least, getting the name is not easy to come by. I want to
stand out and be reviewed for employment, and im looking for a direct
contact to have my resume' reveiwed. Any names or suggestions on how
to get this accomplished and not just have my Resume thrown in the
circular file would be greatly appreiated. As such, im willing to
post this question at currently a half a days wages for any such
answer that is fitting to at least get me some kind of reply back from
any divison.

Although the FBI has field offices all over the US, the majority of
the human resources/personnel work happens in their offices in
Washington DC.

You didn't say what sort of job is of interest to you. Currently, the
FBI has one opening in Newark, NJ for a Financial Assistant/Financial
Analyst.

The contact person for this job is at FBI HQ in Washington, DC.

Are you interested in possible contacts in DC as an answer to your question?

let me know.

Having worked in a government agency, I have a bit of advice for you.
Circumventing the application process is likely to get you noticed,
but not in a good way. If you try to "sneak in the side door," you are
announcing that you do not believe in playing by the rules. Most
government agencies are quite leery of potential employees who do not
want to follow procedure.
