Hello jr1994-ga,

After further research, I believe that the person that you are looking
for is Dana Glover. She performed Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at the
Republican National Convention, following a speech by George P. Bush,
the President?s nephew. She played the piano and sang ?God Bless
America?.

Based on the information that I found, Dana Glover was the only female
performer that played the piano and sang. And she also fits your
description.

You can see the schedule for August 31 at the following link:

You can see a brief clip of her performance in the ?Convention

The long Corbis link did not come through correctly. It should work
if you copy it and paste it into your browser window.

I apologize for the confusion.
