The correlation coefficient (r) measures the strength and direction of
a linear relationship between two measurement variables. It can only
detect associations that are linear.
The value of r indicates the strength of the association. Values of r
near 0 indicate a very weak linear association. Values of r close to 1
or -1 indicates a very strong association.

So, the answer to your question is:
The correlation coefficient r = -0.95 represents the strongest association.
