Accounting standard 22 of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of
India prescribes for creating a Deferred tax liability for timing
differences.My query is whether Special resrve created under section
36(1)(viii)the reversal/withdrawl of which becomes taxable under
section 41(4A) of the income tax act in the year in which the same is
reversed or withdrawn,needs defferred tax liability under AS 22. Mind
it , that the reversal/withdrawl is not certain.
