This isn't a website, but Microsoft Word will do this. However, the trouble with any website or program is that I have never seen one be 100% correct in its grammar check. Kriswrite |

Automated grammar checkers, like automated translators, leave a lot to be desired. There is, in my view, no substitute for the proofreading services of a human being. |

Thanks for your comments everyone... hummer-ga, the website you provided is very similar to what I am looking for. However, the website does not seems to be functional. I gave it a several tries, each time it comes back with error "The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request." |

Hmm, I tried it too, with IE and Firefox, and got the same error. That's too bad. hummer |

Hi sinvin-ga, I recommend finding a professional editor; software is restrictive and not 100% accurate. Several online editing firms exist and they will edit anything from a short paragraph to a novel. They are pretty inexpensive, I have used a couple of different services; you may want to try http://www.papercheck.com. |

Professional proofreading with copy editing is very inexpensive and quick. Here is what www.Ortholex.com might have done with your question: "I am looking for a website where my English sentences would be checked for grammar." They charge $1.50 for a 300 word submission--more if you need it right away. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Clarification of Question by sinvin-ga on 17 Feb 2005 15:11 PST It would great if reseacher can point similar softwares (if there any) |
