I'm trying to find a few suppliers for sheets of "velcro" hook fabric.

Background: Hook and loop sides make up velcro (and competing) fabrics. Velcro
is a brand name, and they don't make what I'm looking for -- the
generic name is "hook and loop". The loops are the fuzzy side and the
hooks are the
more plastic side.

I want to make a 6'x10' wall of hook fabric that I can throw fuzzy
balls at and have them stick. I've seen this fabric in a few games --
targets and paddles that you can throw extra fuzzy tennis balls at and
have them stick. But I can't seem to find any of the material
suppliers.

I can find plenty of sources for loop fabric, like for tradeshow
booths and walls. And I can find plenty of suppliers of small format
hook fabric (tape, buttons, etc.). But I can't find sheets of hook
fabric -- a couple feet wide.

I'm looking for a few sources for sheets of white hook fabric (and
fuzzy balls that stick to them would be a bonus! but I'll take just
the hook fabric if you can find it...)

Thanks!

How big do you need it?

Size ultimately will be approx a 6 foot by 8 foot wall. Could build
that in a few ways -- e.g., out of 2'x2' sheets, a roll of 2-3' wide,
etc. The 6 inch strips from Velcro co are too small.

Could it be that the "velcro" hooked strips are not produced in wider
swaths for technical reasons? I believe the hooks are woven as loops
and cut - like silk was traditionally made - and there may be a
practical, technical reason why it cannot be made in wide pieces.
Good luck. Maybe someone can confirm this theory

I don't think that's it -- we found a supplier that has a 55" hook
fabric but only in black, which doesn't work for our application -- we
need white. I think it was Aplix.

I also have a kids game that has a 2' x 2' hook fabric with a target
on it which you can throw tennis balls at and have them stick.

My guess is that the big sheets are the loops because they're less
expensive and for things like tradeshow booths that's the more
appealing fabric.
