Does anyone make a phone that you can just press a button and record
voice messages for personal notes. I carry a phone and a digital voice
recorder and it's too bulky. I would love to find one unit that is
both a phone and a DVR.

A cell phone with a Voice Recorder/Voice Memo feature would provide
you with a way to record voice messages for personal notes.

From Ultimate Electronics:

?What did I need to do this afternoon? Who did I need to call? Those
nagging questions are a thing of the past thanks to the Voice
Recorder/Voice Memo feature. This technology lets you record reminders
or memos for yourself on your cell phone.?

memo recording feature.

for video and audio streaming, video capture download and playback,
MMS multimedia messaging, voice memo recorder (up to 60 minutes

A comment from a user of the Sony Ericsson T610

?I happened to need a new cell phone, and the one I was interested in
(the Sony Ericsson T610) had a voice recording feature. I just click
the joystick control on it once to the left, and it starts recording.
I say whatever I want, then click stop. It then asks if I want to
e-mail the recording or save it or use bluetooth, etc. I always e-mail
it to myself.?

Many differnt models of phones now have voice tags included in there
feature package. Nokia 3200 - 3595, Moto V400 / 600, Sony Ericcsson
T636 (Which is what I use) When you get ready to buy that new phone
just look through the features of the phone and you will be able to
identify if it has voice tags and voice recording. Some you can even
send a voice message with a MMS message or even do video recording.
