I have been puzzled by seeing this strange Wrom: field in emails, where the "from:" field gets replaced by Wrom: and the email address gets converted into a string of uppercase letters. I am guessing that it's some kind of anti-spam measure, but what program is doing it and where is it happening (e.g. on the mail server via sendmail, etc...)? > -----Original Message----- > Wrom: GPKYLEJGDGVCJVTLBXFGGMEPYOQKEDOTWFAOBUZXUW > Sent: Tuesday, February 15, 2005 3:47 PM > To: Paige Williams; rachel; Samantha Block; Shannon Danilovich; Adina > Subject: > > Dear Friends and Family, |

If you are going through MSN/Hotmail, try to disable your firewall and see if this works. David Bazzelle |

The sender of the message is probably using Outlook and going through MSN/Hotmail and has a peronal firewall installed. This is the cause of the From: being converted to Wrom:. This can cuase anti spam software to block it because of the invalid from email address. The only solution I have been able to find is to disable the firewall.. David Bazzelle |
