Is it required by New Jersey law for a home seller to leave a stove in
the property when they sell it? If so, please provide text.

Depends on the situation...

If it's the case that buyers were shown the home, closed on the house,
and then stove was then removed, the buyers can sue for breach of
contract. They were shown the home with all its fixtures; unless the
sales contract specifically stated that the stove was to be removed,
they have a right to expect it to remain.

On the other hand, if the sale has not been completed, the sellers can
add a clause stating that the stove will be removed.
