Hi dale,
First off, some very common cold meds can cause a false positive for meth.
Secondly, I think it's the Provigil. I took Cylert (active ingredient
pemoline) for 6 years and had the same problem once, positive for
amphetimines. Provigil (modafinil), Cylert (pemoline), Adipex
(phentermine), Preludin (phendimetrazine), ...Ritalin, Didrex,
pondimin, fenfluramine, bontril, ...there are others ...all are
central nervous system stimulants that *technically* are molecularly,
structurally *related* to cocaine. All are very similar. They even
produce nearly identical effects as amphetamines do, just to a lesser
degree --depending on which one you're using. ALL can test positive
for amphetamines.
Thirdly, In my opinion, between the cold meds, epi pen, benadryl,
predisone, and especially --the Provigil, you had virtually NO chance
of coming back clean.
CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR, PREFERABLY THE DOCTOR THAT PRESCRIBES YOUR
PROVIGIL, IMMEDIATELY FOR ASSISTANCE. You need an advocate. Enlist
your Doctor's help. He can dictate a letter to be typed on his
letterhead stating what I have said in very clear terms. That, with an
old prescription bottle for the Provigil, your (saved?) receipts for
the cold meds and benadryl, everything mentioned above, you should be
fine. Receipts must of course be dated BEFORE the drug test...

Kelli White Failed to Pass a Drug Test (October 24, 2003)

..."USA star sprinter Kelli White's two gold medals are in jeopardy

being unable to pass a drug test would spark the biggest drug use &
drug testing scandal in the history of professional athletics. Suffice
to say, the storm has just began..."
