I'm looking for three Australian examples of industries needing to adapt to women's increasing financial independence / changing role in society. Each example should include a link to at least one relevant research-backed statistic (from academic works, major national or metropolitan press, any government-related source or major market-research organisations) The type of example: - the auto industry has placed more emphasis on its smaller cars such as hatchbacks, and has featured different types of marketing since it began recognising women's consumer clout (when, how did this happen?) - A service industry - especially financial services that has or is in the process of rethinking its approach / methods in response to women's different needs / interest / reactions. Further detail on any of these particular examples would be fine, as would different examples of this kind of thing. |
