I need an excel spreadsheet with three columns:  1) the first column
will contain the name of every city in the world with a population
over 10,000; 2)the second column will contain the name of the Country
each city is in; 3) the third column will contain the population of
each city.  The data does not have to be current - it can be up to 10
years old.

You might be able to find a free, online source for such a list using
100,000 as a cut-off, but for cities of 10,000 or more it may well be
necessary to access the info country by country, or to purchase the
list from a commercial source.
