A cd that I enjoyed was stolen about 10-15 years ago, and I have never
been able to find it again. It was by two women and was spirituals
(but not classic spirituals.) One of the songs was about gossiping.
It was a fun song. I would love to find the name of the cd.

The song "Pete and Repeat" is a Christian song about gossip. This is the refrain:

Pete and Repeat what did you hear?
a heart exposed will sharpen your spear
the hoi polloi can't help but fear
to doubt you
Pete and Repeat, dominoes fall
when you become the fly on the wall
They won't run 'till they've learned to crawl
about you

You can read the rest of the lyrics here (scroll about halfway down the page):

Is this your song?

Thank you, PinkFreud and Archae0pteryx, but no in both cases. The
song was fun - not silly but lighthearted. It was about the damage
one can do by talking about people behind their backs. It may have
been directed to good Christian folk who don't think about the talking
they do. (It's been some years!)

Thank you for your suggestions.

Or is it this?

I have a version of it on a CD somewhere (sung by Kathleen Battle, maybe?).
