Dear Chatril,

Is that painting in your house, or did you see it somewhere? If so,
where? If it's in your hosue, would it be possible to provide a
picture of it? What information about this painting are you expecting
as an answer?

Thanks,
PG-ga :-)

My Aunt purchased the round wall plaque in New Zealand about 50 years
ago. It has a "twin" plaque of a similar person carrying fruit. The
plaque seems to be made of plaster of paris or similar and is in
relief (i.e. raised or embossed) I took a photo of the plaque which my
sister has in NZ and I had it painted here in Australia. I can attach
a copy of the photo of the original if that will help? Thank you for
your interest. I would like to know who the artist is and the date. It
has sentimental value for me only, but I wouldn't mind trying to buy a
replica. I will scan the photo taken of my sister's original and send
it shortly. Thank you.

This is on a hidden part of our Rotary web site. If it is any easier,
I could snail mail a copy of the photo if you let me know your
address. Thanks.

Please click on http://rotarnet.com.au/users/9/96452/dougthomas.htm to
see an actual photo of the embossed painting/wall for which I would
like to know the name of the painter and the era. Do you know if this
is still available anywhere? Do you know value/cost?

Hi -

That's a very hefty download, and I'm afraid my punt dial-up
connection couldn't handle it. Would it be possible to upload a jpg
version to the site?

Thanks
