This particular sentence most likely refers to their service of
finding investors for businesses in need of additional financing. The
reference to 'limited partnership' means that they can help you find a
'limited partner' for your business. This limited partner will be a
partner, but their role in the partnership will only extend to the
role of an investor, and this limited partner may not make any
partnership decisions. Their role is the one of a creditor, and they
may not participate in partnership managerial discussions. Reference
to 'institutional investors' and 'high-net-worth' private clients
probably means that CSFB can help you find large amounts of money
otherwise not available. For example it is hard to borrow money from a
bank if you don't have any collateral. Finding a limited partner may
help you attract the required funds. Hope this helps, but please don't
take it as a complete legal answer because it's not even close.
