Hi, I'm a Canadian citizen working the US for 18 months on an R-1
Religious Workers visa. My employer is currently withholding taxes
and I am in the dark as to which country's tax return to file: Should
I file a return in Canada and/or the US? If I only have to file in
Canada how do I report the US earnings? If I only have to file in
Canada how do I get some of the withheld US taxes back (assuming more
than required has been withheld).
