This question regards the dimensions of two figures on glazed colored bricks originally appearing on the Ishtar Gates in ancient Babylon, the walking lion and the Sirrush dragon. 1. What is the exact length and width of each composition? 2. What are the exact dimensions of the glazed bricks and size of the grout spacing between bricks? The Ishtar figures are also found at a museum in Instanbul, the NY Met., the Berlin Museum, and others. Steve |
