Hello,

In France wines are normally labelled with region rather than with grape types.
The answer I am looking for should be based on the grape rather than the region.
Here are some of grape types I have already found, where I have only
little information: Aligote, Chasselas, Semillon, Savagin.
Others like Gamay, Sauternes, Chardonnay I have more information on,
but would still like to get what you can find.
Alsace grapes are covered well on the net, still if you want to
include some it would be great.
If possible please order the answer for each grape.
Grape name, Grape history, Grape location(s), other info of interest.
Thank you
