Within last ten days I came across news that several brokerages were
giving compensation to clients who had lost money in 1999 - 2000 in
stocks these brokerages had hyped. We were among big losers. Papers
had to be in by March 8, 2005. I need a copy of the communication
with instructions and the url for the site that had more information.
I tried to print the communication but apparently it did not print. My
husband suffered a massive stroke when the losses occurred and is
worse now. I would like to recover the funds so that I can get him
nursing care. Can you help me?

USB and Morgan Stanley were two of the brokerage houses involved. The
funds available were a result of intervention and approved. Don't
know the agencies involved but March 8 was deadline for parties with
losses to file. It could have been more than ten days ago that I saw
this on internet--maybe around two weeks. In any event, this is short
notice to make parties aware of compensation alternative. Thank you.
