This is probably what you heard about: http://www.voila.fr
However it doesn't really do what you described.

There is no Country Domain ".fe". I believe you must mean ".fr" for France.

These are the possible addresses similar to what you have given.
(1) www.voila.com.fe
(2) www.voila.com.fr
(3) www.voila.fe
(4) www.voila.com
(5) www.voila.fr

The first 3 don't exist.

The 4th one, www.voila.com is in French language but I don't think it
is the one you are looking for. It seems to be a site dedicated to
innovation in Internet reseach, a virtual online laboratory,
associating the whole community of professionals and passionate
amateurs.

The 5th one, www.voila.fr could be what you are looking for. It
seems to be a French portal type website, but you can go to the Travel
page by clicking on "Voyages" on the top-left menu. Then click on
"Hotel" on the top-centre menu. You will then see links to several
hotels in various cities and countries.
Only one of these is in Paris. If you click on the link, there are
exterior and interior photographs of the hotel.
New Hotel Candide, 3, rue Petion, Paris, France, 75011
http://www.opodo.fr/otpbvpl/Jsp/opodo/StrutsServlet/HotelDetailsView?hotelCode=30472&Mkt_Id=CDMD0300290000005
The following was also mentioned: "Votre Hôtel à Paris: Suitehotel
Paris Saint Denis", but clicking on that link brings you to a hotel
which is in a different part of France.

But, if you go back the the 4th website on the list, www.voila.com
you could try typing in a known street address, click on "Rechercher"
and it may give you a link to a site with photographs of whatever
building is located at that address.
For example, the US Embassy is located at: "2, AVENUE GABRIEL, 75382
PARIS CEDEX 08"
If you enter that address, the first link listed is a consular page
from the American Embassy website. By browsing that website, you
could come to this page which shows photographs of the building:
http://www.amb-usa.fr/embassy/buildings.htm OR
http://www.amb-usa.fr/ambassade/batiments.htm

Unfortunately, this is probably not what you had in mind when you said
"you give the address and the site shows the building", but perhaps
one of the Researchers will be able to give you a better answer. (I am
only a commenter).

The site you are looking for is

http://photos.pagesjaunes.fr/

"Voila.fr" is the french portal of "France Telecom" (first french
telecom operator).

"PagesJaunes" (yellow pages) is one of it's subsidiary.

You can access "pagesjaunes" directly from "Voila"
