I'm looking for a resource (free if possible) where I can type in an area code and prefix and return all numebrs currently assigned. I believe this is referred to as a criss-cross directory search. I do not want "reverse lookup" search engines. Example below (just an example - I would like to search different area codes/prefix combos): 315-446-XXXX 315-446-0000 Jason Smith 315-446-0001 Ron Jones 315-446-0005 Amanda Howard 315-446-0006 BOB's Barber Shop |

Contact your local library. You need a book or database called the "Criss-Cross" or "city directory." These books are used by marketers to identify who has what number. Not all such books have the reverse-lookup pages, and those that do won't have unlisted numbers. |
