At the bottom of page 16 out of page 23, a small horizontal line has
appeared that I absolutely cannot get rid of - no deletion technique -
moving the cursor to it, or highlighting it and deleting (won't
highlight) will work.
 Also, I upconverted it to MS Word 2002, and this same line still
appears, but as a grey "watermark" type line.
 I have no idea of what to do about this.
 Any ideas, folks?

Since this is WordPerfect and NOT Microsoft Word we're talking about,
I'd simply go to the 'Reveal Codes' menu option and remove the
formating from that view.
