Using: Dell inspiron, windows XP home edition, ms access 2000,
recently upgraded at microsoft.com downloads. Using a simple test
database, c.mdb and the backend c_be.mdb (tried it split and unsplit,
same result) 1 table called contacts. No code, just a barebones test
with a few data records in it. Problem: Tried to create data access
page by using the Wizard, this results in "The wizard is unable to
create your data access page" Tried to create data access page in
design view, this results in the SectionUnbound>View>Properties>Data
Tab>RecordSource field not showing any RecordSet choices. Also,
SectionUnbound....Field List screen showing no connection to a
database. When I right click on the database connection icon and
select Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE DB Provider then enter the name of my
backend db into the database name field that seems to work, then click
on the test connection button and I get a popup that says it suceeded,
but when I close the dialog windows I get a Runtime Error R6025
virtual function call. No help on the R6025 - searches yield solutions
for programmers/developers. I just want to be able to create a data
access page. Do you have a solution - not just a technical coding
reason please, I need a solution so I can create the data access
pages, Thank you. Screen shots and steps followed in a word file are available.
