I have windows xp professional. i have a nymber of devices connected
via USBs (eg printer, keyboard, mouse, flight simulator, camera and a
back up hard drive.

the computer does not recognize the hard drive any more. and it seems
the camera is only recognized in its original USB port.

how can i reinstall all the usd devices or other wise get them to work again?

You may want to go to your device manager and check for any errors
that may be appearing in the profiles for your usb devices.
