Juris International -- a site created by the UN-sponsored
International Trade Center -- has a selection of widely used model
contracts for international trade, which you can view here:

http://www.jurisint.org/pub/02/en/index.htm

Some of the model contracts listed here were created by the ITC, while
others originated from well known international trade organizations.

Included on the list are the following general contracts pertaining to commodities:

Sale of perishable goods, commodities and raw materials - General (5)

http://www.jurisint.org/pub/02/en/suj_3_1.htm

Sale of perishable goods, commodities and raw materials - General 1.
 Euro-Supply Contract, General Terms

1.   Euro-Supply Contract, General Terms
The Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA)

2. General contract for feedingstuffs, tale quale - C.I.F. Terms
The Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA)

3. General Cost Insurance Freight Terms Contract (C.I.F.)

5. International Commercial Sale of Perishable Goods: Model Contract
and Users's Guide

In addition, you'll also find specialty commodity model contracts on the list:

Sale of perishable goods, commodities and raw materials - Cocoa (4)

Sale of perishable goods, commodities and raw materials - Grains, oil
seeds and feeding meals (35)

Sale of perishable goods, commodities and raw materials - Others (1)

though these tend in the direction of foodstuffs rather than metals.

You may also find contracts of interest in other sections, such as
Construction, Procurement, Machinery, and semi-manufactured goods.

And if you find you're interested in other areas of commerce, well,
they're listed as well, e.g.:

Licensing (patent, trademark and know-how) (23)

All told, more than 150 model contracts for international trade are listed here.

There are also a number of model contracts available through the
International Chamber of Commerce site:

ICC Model International Sale Contract;
ICC Model Commercial Agency Contract;
ICC Model Distributorship Contract (sole importer-distributor);
ICC Short Form Agency & Distributorship Model Contracts;
ICC International Franchising Contract;
ICC Model Occasional Intermediary Contract.

ICC model contracts being developed

ICC Mergers and Acquisitions Model Contract II : Business and Assets Agreement;
ICC Model Turnkey Supply of an Industrial Plant Contract;
ICC Model Major Project Turnkey Contract;

If you can't find a contract of interest for your needs from these two
sources, it probably means there isn't one in widespread use yet.
