Hi there,
We are trying to set up a better video scheduling system for our
student-run tv station at a state school.
We are an all-mac (OS X) studio, and all our video is compressed
digitally (all of it in some sort of digital format)
We broadcast 24/7 and currently use a program called "Cellulo" to play
videos. It is just sort of an iTunes for videos, and certainly not
made for what we're using it for.
We are trying to find a Macintosh equivalent to Scala's InfoChannel
(http://www.scala.com/products/). And are coming up with no luck.
Can there really not be a video scheduling program for Macintosh based
studios?

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks so much,
Sam J

ps. i know cellulo is a free program. we are definitely not looking
for another small, free program. we'd rather have something that
actually -works-. So I guess, price is not really an issue, although
obviously something in the multiple thousands of dollars is going to
be kind of out of our league.

Hey Sam,
I used this software a while back for the same type of setup that
you are looking for. It worked very well. It is called Live Channel
Pro, you may have already looked at it.

I think it is in the $700 ballpark for education.
