My Uncle is in the process of building a $3-4 Million dollar home in
the Los Angeles area (Calabassas, CA). He has asked that I help him
do some type of marketing targeting people who can afford that price.
His original thoughts were that he would want to send nice post-cards
or other direct mail to Stars and other wealthy individuals in the Los
Angeles area. He is reluctant to list a Real Estate agent at this
point because he does not want the home to appear to have been ?listed
on the market? for a long period of time (as the home will not be
completed for another 1.5 years)

I need to put together a plan, so please research how I could promote
this home including perhaps answering some and/or all of the following
questions:

1) How to target stars by obtaining a mailing list that goes to these individuals

2) Where we may place ads where people who can afford such homes can
see it and contact us for more information

3) Are there specialists who do this for a living, whether they are or
are not real estate agents?

4) Any other tactics that you recommend.
