I'm looking for the current and perposed number of time share units,
homes and or vacation rentals, condo or condo/hotel developments along
whith the  total ex-pat or non Mexican population who have a residence
in and around Playa del Carmen Mexico. In other words how many
non-Mexicans are living and or own residences in this area?

INEGI - Mexican Institue of Geography, Statistics, and Information
Processes.  They definitely must have number of ex-pats in Playa del
Carmen.  www.inegi.gob.mx

Secretaría de Turismo - Secretariat of Tourism, www.sectur.gob.mx
(only works if using www), probably in the "FONATUR" section (for
Playa del Carmen touristic developments were created by FONATUR) or in
SECTUR section.

Please be aware that most of this information will be available in
Spanish only.  I'd answer this question right away but I am not a
researcher!
