I am looking for a low cost, effective way to connect with people who would like to
live in a commercial / retail loft - ala NY, LA or Atlanta; but in a low
cost, safe, midwest small recreational town. At the turn of the
century, families lived above their bakery or shoe store. Now it is
groups of lifestyle types - authors, artists, craftsmen or web entrepreneurs, in a
live - work loft areas.

Standard realty firms do residential or commercial buildings. They
don't seem to have unique small town living for people seeking
lifestyle before location. Their websites are location first then
building type.

I build out and sell or lease live -work -retail spaces in a quaint
old downtown in a recreational small midwest city. In the rural
midwest, the right type of entrepreneur businesses can even get grants
because this could be a form of economic development. But where do I
find them?

For example, how would I connect with a couple, who is retiring, or
has a mobile business and who
wants the light & space for an artist loft, with space for a residence
and retail gallery - ala Soho NY or LA. But without the big city
crime, hassle and costs. The price difference is huge vs a metro area.
The quality of life is high, but wages are low, so they need a
portable business or wealth or retirement income.

Or someone who is in the web / remote tech/ ecommerce businesses who
wants a highly creative riverfront multi story loft. We find & build
very unique spaces in quirky places. They can be anywhere, why not in
great lifestyle place in
a tax free state?
But how do I find, attract or sell to such targeted audiences?

Thanks for any help here!
