Rite Aid drug store, previously Thrifty's, have a special ice cream scooper. It is stainless steel and makes cylinder-shaped ice cream scoops. It has a trigger-like handle which is squeezed to push the ice cream out. I have been trying to find an ice cream supplier that sells these at wholesale price. I've contacted Rite Aid and they will sell them for $100 each, which seems overpriced. Occasionally these items will also sell on Ebay, but I would like to find an ice cream supplier/manufacturer to buy these from. If you can find the supplier who makes these scoopers, or at least ones like it, and provide me with the prices, I will definitely leave a tip. Thanks. |

I couldn't find a supplier for you, but there is an active eBay auction going on right now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=11663&item=6156987429&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW |

I have found some messages on boards talking about knockoffs on ebay. So if you do end up actually getting one from ebay make sure that it is stainless steal and not chrome plated. As for some information about the manafacture, I can not find anything about these scoops. |
