I am trying to identify what became of a mutual fund originally known
as "The American Investors Fund (Greenich, Connecticut). My research
indicates the name may have changed on 9/19/86 to "American INVS
Growth Fund Inc." The question is: does that fund (or its ancestor)
still exist and if so, what is the current name and phone number?
Answer
There is no answer at this time.

Was it a public mutual fund? If so, it would be registered with the
SEC. It would also have had a mutual fund ticker symbol that would be
helpful in tracking it down.

Was it an open- or closed-ended fund?
