According to the latest Review of Maritime Transport (2004) released February 4th, 2004 (the next report is due out any day now): Port TEUs 2003 Hong Kong (China) 20.82 Singapore 18.41 Shanghai 11.37 Shenzhen 10.7 Busan 10.37 Kaoshiung 8.81 Rotterdam 7.1 Los Angeles 6.61 Hamburg 6.14 Antwerp 5.44 Dubai 5.15 Port Klang 4.8 Long Beach 4.66 Quingdao 4.24 New York 4.04 Tanjung Pelepas 3.5 Tokyo 3.28 Bremenhaven 3.19 Laem Chabang 3.18 Gioia Tauro 3.06 Total top 20 144.87 The numbers are in millions of TEUs (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units... aka. shipping containers). Since this is the most recent data I could find, please let me know if it fits your needs even though it is not 2004. Thank you very much. skermit-ga |

Those figures look like container traffic. There is also Oil, LPG, grain, minerals |
