Hi Paul, As a fellow Aussie, I may be a bit biased. I like your site. Crisp, easy to read and good use of colour contrasts. The Adelaide night skyline is appropriate. What a great idea too! The blue and black text against the white background is good on the eyes. The airbrushed steel grey faded bits look great too. Spelling looks fine at first glance without proof-reading the works. Only one thought from the pedantics like me. Ending a sentence with a preposition is easy speak and widely acceptable, maybe even unnoticed. But it's grammatically incorrect. I only point this out, as you don't know who your audience might be. I'm referring to the end of your second paragraph from your home page. " .. fit into all the categories you apply for." Consider: " .. fit into all the categories for which you apply." or similar. Good luck with your venture. Phil |

Paul, ps .. It just gets better. Your ACS site looks like good marketing to me. The fact that you give something of yourself upfront with free consultation says a lot about the confidence of your business. I'm sure you will rope in lots of custom. You deserve to succeed. Phil |

Just a comment. Consider shangingthe first paragraph. I don't think it reads well. Something like this: This directory attempts to list every end-user computer related company in the Adelaide metropolitan area. There is a separate category for areas outside of the metropolitan area. We do not list wholesalers. ~~Cynthia |

At the second link, I would add a comma here: ... to cover up their own incompetence, however we believe ... |

I have ActiveX support turned off Also use 800 x 600 screen size - your home page seems to want more than 800 You need to change the NOFRAMES text - it ain't consistent with the rest of the site Actually I can't see why you are using Frames - but maybe I missed something |

I too have personal issues with frames, and question the need for them. Some may want to bookmark a specific page and frames prevent this. Also on the second site you listed... just my though here "no fix = no charge" how about "no solution= no fee" something with the no fix just reads wrong to me. May be just the american in me though. Other than that I found both sites well laidout (even dispite the frames), nothing appeared to be annoying to users, navigation was good, although you may want to expand on your news- maybe turn the announcing the new website one into a link taking them to the new website (open in seperate page) if the news is big enough could you perhaps create a news page giving more information on each section? Overall, pretty good job! |

Besides the fact that you spelled everything wrong....oops!!...that's right, you're from Oz! LOL. You do need a comma right before: "even on NT/2000/XP!" on Adelaide's home page. Also, under Software Development, you need to add a link to www.vbaexpress.com, thanks very much. And...I hate frames, too, I'm sorry to say. When I want to send someone to a link that's in a frame, I have to right-click the menu item I used to get there, and choose Copy Shortcut. Sometimes, Outlook wants to paste HTML shortcuts as attachments, and...well...it just gets messy. I hate frames. I don't see the point in them either. I wish you very good luck! |

Hi. I think you should add some padding left of directory listings. They are too close to the edge of the screen. Ther is also an error in the page footer, right after the "Return to the Home Page". You should add ";" after both nbsps You could also include a link to www.sgiti.com :P |
