Hi again, lancasterad,

Have a look at this:

7-HYDROXYBIOPTERIN : AN ALARM PHEROMONE IN P-145
"In giant danio, Danio malabaricus, (Order Ostariophysi), the
characteristic fright reaction is produced by introducing the alarm
substance (Schreckstoff), which was extracted from the skin of adult
fish."
"Comparison of biological activity and spectral data corresponding to
the natural substance and proposed authentic sample verified that
7-hydroxybiopterin is the alarm substance. The amount for response was
determined as 0.05 mg."

Hope that helps!
hummer

Sorry, no, I've no idea where you could find some. You could try
getting in touch with some of the labs mentioned in the links I posted
for your previous question.

Good luck, hummer
