I want to create my own website and need a disk to display graphics, etc. Where and how can I acquire this type of material to download? I need something inexpensive, but still adequate. Thank you for your input. |

By graphics do you mean just the random images or the flash intro's to? For just the images what you are looking for is stock images, I will give it a look real quick and see if I can find you soem free ones. |

They may mean, hard drive space, as in a webhosting company. |

Do you mean Web space? if so try www.netfirms.com they do free hosting for small sites. |

I am grateful for the answers I received, but I think I did not explain what I was looking for plainly enough. I want to create my own website, and don't know the steps needed to do this. I don't need a server until I create the site. I am looking for instuctions on how to do this, ie: Pages with my own graphic, and a format for listing items for sale, with pictures and a description. When I did this before, I used the e-commerce mall's format to list, but I now want to work on my own instead of being part of a group of stores. Thanks. |

Oh I see. In that case just search html tutorial on google. There's a lot of html editing programs that are easy to use out there such as dreamweaver, but most are not free. Just create any file(file->new) on your system and rename it to index.html . Then right click it and click "edit". If not click windows key+R and type notepad, then open your file. Then start looking through html tutorials. If you run into problems ask in this thread. |
