Question ID: 480017
I need all the pages of http://www.marx2mao.com extracted by HTTrack
website extractor (www.httrack.com).

Then to zip all the HTML files and upload in a geocities page, which I
will download, which you will later down, for any other reader can not
download it. (The extracted folder of the HTTrack creates a .dat - may
be two - files, which needs to be deleted.)

I can not do it myself as I do not have Internet connection.

Also give me the size of the zip file.

zavala3-ga,

Two things:

--the authors of the marx2mao.com site state that materials on the
site CAN be downloaded freely as long as they are not being downloaded
for commercial use (how wonderfully socialist of them!). Can you
affirm that you don't have commercial intent.

--Are you aware of the site http://www.marxists.org/ which also has a
deep library of similar materials?

I look forward to hearing back from you.

I don't need the "Espaņol" version of the site. (From
http://www.marx2mao.com/M2M(SP)/index(sp).html onwards)

I don't have any commercial interest at all.

Let me see the www.marxists.org site and decide later, if I need it.
(as I have seen little of it, I may need it encached)

Dear zavala3,

I've downloaded the contents of marx2mao.com and made the resulting
files into a set of locally linked files, so you'll be able to view
them on your own computer without connecting to the web. I've done a
number of spot checks to verify that nothing is missing. If you do
find any difference between your local copy and the live website, let
me know and I'll look into it.

I've posted the zipped archive to the following address.

  http://plg.uwaterloo.ca/~mlaszlo/answers/marx2mao.tar.Z

After you've downloaded this and unzipped it with a common utility
such as WinZip, you'll get an archive called marx2mao.tar, which
Windows should recognize and open for you. The archived directory is
called marx2mao, and inside this is a further directory called
www.marx2mao.com, which has the actual website contents. So once
you've unzipped and extracted everything, you'll find the start page
of your local copy of the website at the following relative path on
your hard drive.

  marx2mao/www.marx2mao.com/index.html

If you don't see how to access the start page or if you run into any
other trouble, please let me know through a Clarification Request so
that I have a chance to fully meet your needs before you assign a
rating.

Oh, and the zip file takes up 29 megabytes.

You mentioned that you didn't need the Spanish documents, so I've
prepared a second zipped archive that excludes them. This one takes up
23 megabytes.

  http://plg.uwaterloo.ca/~mlaszlo/answers/marx2mao.tar.Z

In this case, after you've unzipped and unpacked the archive, you'll
find the start page at the following relative path.

  www.marx2mao.com_without_spanish_docs/index.html
