Question ID: 480176
I found some beads at A. C. Moore which I would like to purchase
wholesale (we have a business with a tax ID number). The tubes were
not marked very well and I am having difficulty finding the wholesaler
on the web. Here is all of the information on the tube: Beader's
Paradise, Made in Czech, Packed in USA. Czech Glass Beadlettes, Silver
Line Mix (LTB99) 24 gr. UPC 7 66068 91099 5. That is all the info on
the sticker. No city or state listed. I went back to AC Moore to
check out the rack they were on, but there wasn't anything more there.
It seems as though all of their product codes started with BDR then
the item number starts with LTB and then a 1 or 2 digit number (i.e.
BDRLTB99). That is all the information that I can supply. The only
Beaders Paradise that I found on the web was a local shop in
Northampton, MA.

Dear tempestinateapot,

By searching the Uniform Code Council's database [1], I found out to
what company the UPC number 7 66068 91099 5 belongs. According to
them, the number is assigned to:

Beaders Paradise
P.O. Box 2442
Silver City, NM 88062

This is, of course, not much information. Now that I knew the state
and the town, I searched the New Mexico Corporations Bureau database
[2] for the company, but it was not much additional informatuion I
got:

Beaders Paradise, LLC
Doug Rather
306 Ridge Road
Silver City, NM 88062

SCC Number: 1688308
Organization Date: 12 Sep 1994, in New Mexico
Organization Type: Domestic Limited Liability
Expiration Date: 12/31/2025

I did everything to find out more about the company. But all my
efforts to locate their telephone number, e-mail address, fax number
or website remained fruitless. The mailing address is, much to my
surprise, all that is available. Nevertheless, I hope that the address
of the company who packaged the beads will be useful for you.

Best regards,
Scriptor

What a fast turn around! Scriptor, I am amazed at your
resourcefulness. I can't believe these folks don't have a published
phone number, but I will be sending snail mail to both addresses that
you provided. Thank you so much!

I was looking on the web for a website for Beader's Paradise when I
came across your question. There is a great website for wholesale
craft supplies and on it is listed the following:

BEADERS PARADISE
4201 Guinn Rd
Knoxville, TN 37931
(423)927-3800
(800) 859-5254
FAX: (865)927-9922

Hope this helps?
Tami
