Are there any credit cards that are designed for students that don't
require a checking account and doesn't offer turn-downs? I'm a college
student who made $2,000 in 2004 with less than perfect credit. Any
help is much appreciated.

If, by "doesn't offer turn-downs," you mean "will accept anyone,
regardless of credit history," I don't think a legitimate unsecured
credit card exists that meets your requirement. A lender who accepts
all applicants is likely to go out of business very, very soon.
