Howdy ramman29-ga, You are not the only person that has a concern about "webloyalty" (WLI) charges. More from Adam Rosi-Kessel's Fair and Balanced Weblog. http://adam.rosi-kessel.org/weblog/the_man/webloyalty_aka_wli_reservations_is_a_scam.html "... charge on my credit card bill for 'WLI*RESERVATIONREWARDS 800-7327031' CT for $9. I had no idea what the charge was, so I called 1-800-732-7031 and finally figured it out." You should read the above page in detail as it will give you several tips on how you ended up with these charges and how to handle getting rid of them. To take care of this problem, you will want to do the following, from the Reservation Rewards "Contact Us" web page. http://home.reservationrewards.com/rrcontact.asp "To cancel your Reservation Rewards Membership at any time click on this link to access our online Benefit Cancel Center 24 hours a day, or call Customer Service toll-free at 1-800-732-7031." They appear to be responsive to cancellation and refund requests. The "link" they reference above is: http://home.reservationrewards.com/rrnotmember.asp You want to make sure they cancel your "membership" and refund any charges they have made. Be firm and insistent, but be calm about it. Get a reference number and a name or extension number of the person you talk to, and keep notes on when you called, etc. Call your bank or credit card company and tell them the charges were not authorized and that you are contesting these charges. More contact information can be found on this webloyalty web page. http://www.webloyalty.com/contact.asp If you need any clarification, feel free to ask, and thank you for using Google Answers. Agreed! I did a "paranoia check" on my credit card charges right after answering this as I have shopped at some of the sources of this. These people have infiltrated some of the largest online vendors and services. It is almost unbelievable! Looking Forward, denco-ga - Google Answers Researcher |

Great answer Denco. Thanks for the links, they were very helpful. It looks like everyone who provides a secure check-out is getting in on this act. I assume that they must be a receiving some kick-back from WebLoyalty. I guess we will all have to read our credit card statements closely if we use the card for online shopping. |

Meals mostly. Call me anything you want, but don't call me late for dinner. Actually, I appropriated "Looking Forward" from Ted Turner, many years ago. I have always thought it appropriate(!) for forward looking people. (still) Looking Forward, denco-ga - Google Answers Researcher |
