Apparently, "there is no 'correct' pronunciation of Latin":
http://languages.4status.net/latin/pronunciation.htm

"Latin pronunciation is an uncertain field":
http://home.tiscali.be/mauk.haemers/collegium_latinum/pronounce.htm

"There are basically 3 systems of pronuncing Latin, all used by
different people for different purposes". Referring to "Latin in names
(of flowers, animals, materials) or expressions (in law or just to
appear more educated) ...
Latin is pronounced like English or whatever language you're speaking":
http://languages.4status.net/latin/pronunciation.htm

So there appears to be no single reference. This would depend on
"whatever language you're speaking".
