Spain is the number one international destination for the British.

?In 2002 Spain became the most popular country visited by UK
residents, beating France for the first time. This lead was
consolidated in 2003 with UK residents making 13.8 million visits to
Spain, 15 per cent more than the 12.0 million visits to France. The
Irish Republic was the third most popular country visited by UK
residents during 2003, with USA fourth.?

These figures are possibly even more significant if the number of UK
tourists who drive through France to get to Spain and then return home
through France are taken into acoun,t as This would appear as a visit,
or two, to France.

Yes a very popular place for UK visitors is Lanzarote and many are
using quality villas and apartments from http://www.lanzarote1.com and
other property management companies that give a good profesional
service.
