I also do not see text items for username, password, server and login
button when I login to sqlwebadmin by using the link
 http://localhost\sqlwebadmin/

Do you have the .net framework installed? Is IIS running? What operating system?

.Net framework is installed, IIS is running. OS is XP.

Ok, have you tried using the IP address or name of the computer
instead of localhost?

Make sure that the virtual directory in IIS in enabled to run scripts
and ISAPI filters. Also, the .net framework needs to be installed
AFTER IIS in already installed and running. If this is the case then I
don't know whats going on.

You shouldn't need to add anything to the ISAPI tab in the default web
page properties but if you go to the virtual directory "sqlwebadmin"
properties. You should see a "configuation" button under the
directories tab. If you click on that then look at the application
mappings, you should see an entry for aspx files. It should read
something like
"C:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\V1.4.4322\aspnet_isapi.dll"
Is that there?

I would absolutely start by reinstalling dotnet. Also make sure you
are installing the correct version of dotnet. Your program should
indicate which version(s) on which it depends.

I have had this issue several times. I deploy dotnet-based webservers
and I get this issue every now and then.

I cannot say for sure that dotnet has to be installed before IIS or
after, but I do know that installing one, then the other corrects this
issue.

Hi there,

Are you sure that the .NET local user account is functioning
correctly? If it is not it will not run the cript. Also, make sure
that the account has rights on the folder that contains the ASPX code.
