To explain Fib Retracements and expansions plus, time series (which you did not ask about, but is an important part of understand and using Fib ratios)would be very difficult. But basically you take a given movement and then apply one of the Fib ratio. .786 .618, .382 So let say the movement is from 1200 to 1300 (100 points) and you want to know what the retracement level will be. Just sub the number of points from, in this case, 1300 so... the first retracement will be (.382)1261.8, the next (.618) 1238.2 and lastly (.786) 1221.8 I suggest you buy the books from this author: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/002-5810560-1956008 I hope this helps |
