Dual layer DVD's are backward compatible with older DVD players/readers. Most movie DVD's are dual-layer (pop it in a PC and explore the DVD drive to observe the media size to be 8.5GB+), but they can be played in DVD readers in laptop/PC's that dont burn dual-layer DVD's. |
