I am looking for an appropriate name for my new sports and
entertainment advisory firm. The name should have a resonance with
sports/entertainment linked to an historical or aspirational story or
event. I have been looking at areas such as Greek mythology with names
such as Elysium and Zeus. Other areas could be literature, art ,etc.

Atalanta, a character from Greek mythology, has a nice ring to her
name. When she refused to marry, her father convinced her to agree to
wed any suitor who could beat her in a footrace. The one man who
managed, Hippomenes, did so only by distracting her with three golden
apples given him by Aphrodite -- and all the speed he could manage.

"athon" from Marathon. Surely you know the ancient roots of this 26.2 mile race?

I personaly prefer the names of some of the Greek Titans from Greek
Mythology. Some of my favorite names are Cronus, Oceanus, Gaea, and
Prometheus. For more information on each of these Titans and other
Greek gods you can go to http://olympianmythology.blogspot.com
