I would like to have a reliable value for the specific heat of
asphalt-in-water emulsion. The asphalt-in-water emulsions that we use
are from 60-65% asphalt emulsified in 35-40% water. A small percentage
of soap is used to do the emulsifying. A reliable value for the
specific heat of any emulsion in the percentage ranges given would be
useful to me. I would like the value for the specific heat and the
link to the reference, such that I can assess the likely reliability
of the source. These emulsions are used in paving technology, but the
specific heat value might be more likely found in a scientific
reference.
