I would like to have a reliable value for the specific heat of asphalt-in-water emulsion. The asphalt-in-water emulsions that we use are from 60-65% asphalt emulsified in 35-40% water. A small percentage of soap is used to do the emulsifying. A reliable value for the specific heat of any emulsion in the percentage ranges given would be useful to me. I would like the value for the specific heat and the link to the reference, such that I can assess the likely reliability of the source. These emulsions are used in paving technology, but the specific heat value might be more likely found in a scientific reference. |
