i intend saving a webpage but wasn't able to. i.e i filled a form online, had it submitted, clicked the back button on my browser and all attemps to save all what i filled in the form proved fruitless. viewing the code does not help matters or even using the save as button only saves the empty form. is there anyway to go about this besides having to take a snapshot of the screen? if not,how do i go about this because since it's a long page i.e have to scroll down i end up having to take snapshots upon snapshots. my problem also includes webpages i view online that does not have an explicit url i.e after viewing my credit file online, the url was just https://www.econsumer.equifax.ca/ca/main which does not link to my file. thanks |

Try roboform.com for internet explorer. Mozilla firefox has a similar program called autoform as an extention. |

google search terms: explorer plugin save form data found a tool for MSIE to save form data you type in: http://www.digimode10.com/1shareware/IEAutoFill.htm If you view a webpage that already has data in it, such as your credit report, you can use the File -> Save command to save the HTML in a local file. The data displayed in that webpage (as it first appeared in your browser) will be included in that file. Then you can refer to that info later. I use this technique to save flight confirmation webpages and so forth. Sometimes the images don't work because the webpage uses relative URLs for image paths, but the important content will still be available. |

If it is the content you want you can just print the page. If you want a file to refere to there is a product call "SNAGIT" by Tech Smith. WWW.techsmith.com. It will grab a scrolling web page and save it as an image or as text. |
