I am seeking detailed information about a Mica Mine that existed off
of E. Mombasha Road in Monroe NY. My understaning is that the mine has
some hostoric significance and was ultimately intentionally flooded
creating what is now know s Winape Lake.

Separately, I am seeking to lern whether living on a former mine site
with the presence of Mica and possibly any residues used in the mining
of Mica, poses human health risks.

Hello dawsonsinny-ga,

I suggest that you close this question and post two separate ones
instead. You'll have a much better chance of getting an answer that
way. It seems to me that it will be much easier to get the general
information about mica mines than the specific information about the
Monroe NY mine you're interested in. As posted, the question will not
be answered unless the researcher can handle both questions. Good
